 Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 is an anime series that ran in Japan from 1998-1999. Like its OAV predecessor, Bubblegum Crisis, the series is set in the world of the future. Bubblegum Crisis Mega Tokyo has become Megalo City and the series is based in 2040 rather than 2033. The Boomers have been renamed"Voomers", but for the most part the series resembles the original.
